I'm playing catch up. I've finished 2 Diva Challenges today. Last week we were challenged to tangle on something unexpected. The Diva's inspirational piece was a nice tangle on a map, using the map features as her string. I've always wanted to tangle on a piece of sheet music, but then I thought that wasn't too unexpected since I've seen it done many times by others on Pinterest postings.
Several years ago I decided I'd collect antique children's books. I abandoned that pretty quickly and have just a handful of them tucked away. But I thought some of those beautiful illustrations would be unexpected backdrops for some "tangelatin'." As it turned out, none of my books had anything that lent itself to further embellishments, so I turned to Google Images and found this little cutey -- a Valentine postcard drawn by Mabel Lucie Attwell.
I was going to add additional hearts, but after I finished the LaBel, I thought it looked just perfect.
