I missed challenge 13 because I was on vacation with the family in Myrtle Beach. Lovely lovely time. Fabulous weather.
This week's Tangle Me 3 challenge is one of my favorite patterns: Maryhill by Betsy Wilson. I used one of my new "Earth Colors" Sakura Microns for the outlines of triangles. I have the original pattern and 4 variations. 1 variation has a filler of straight lines, which I don't care for. 1 has a filler of color. 1 has shading on one side to create some extra dimensionality. And 1 has sparkle.
I thought of another variation -- adding rounding along the edge where the lines start. But I would have needed to make the spaces between the lines a little wider to pull that off. Oh well, I'll play with that another day.
Thanks Suzy for a fun challenge.
