I used:
Ilana by Mariët Lustenhouwer
Slalom and Wisket, both by Sandra Strait
Girdy by Karl Stewart
Steps by Helen Williams (Helen, I'll always be in your debt!) and
a ruffle with Cadent (Zentangle(r))
I would have drawn a pattern that looked like a garbage can if there was one, because my hubby of 40+ years ALWAYS takes the garbage out. I never have to wonder if he did it or nag him or, God forbid, actually get out and do it myself. Over the years, as we've had our ups and downs, it's easy to take things for granted, easy to see the negatives. But I choose to see and value the little ways he demonstrates he loves me. Test it for yourself - look for the little treasures -- even if it seems meaningless like taking out the garbage. Does he or she fill your gas tank on cold days? Show up at dinners with YOUR crazy family? Make your favorite meal even though he or she hates it? Then say Thank You to acknowledge those acts of love. Trust me, bigger acts will follow!!!!
