I chose to stick with my typical Zentangle-size tile rather than the larger version. But I immediately regretted it because the spaces were so small that I was limited in my pattern selection. There was no sense trying anything with a lot of detail in a tiny area. I chose the patterns:
Flutter Pie by Carole Ohl,
Flez by Lori Howe,
Munchin (Z (r), and
Ginko by Jo Newsham.
In retrospect, I don't think Flutter Pie was a good fit for this tile. If anyone has any ideas what I could add to these FP's to improve them, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
This is the first time I've ever drawn Ginko -- love love love how it turned out.
Thanks Erin. This was my first Zendala ever. I'm no longer a Zendala virgin. I'll have to try some more...but in a bigger format next time! To learn more, visit I am the Diva blogspot.
