Suzy Mosh's That's New to Me Tangle Challenge this week is to use at least one pattern that's new to me and begins with the letter J. When I got to looking at the J patterns, I couldn't believe I had never tried Laura Liu’s Japan Diamond.
I also included:
Keenees by Donna Hornsby and
Paradox (Z (r))
I'm taking Suzy's advice and adding a (c) to my tiles because they will be on Pinterest. Can you believe someone reproduced one of her drawings and tried to sell it, even though it had her name on it? Adding the copyright symbol (or simply (c) ) plus the year and your name is an easy habit to get into. You should use it with any type of original creative piece you publish – that includes all types of visual art, music, writing, etc. Not sure if it’s the same for intellectual property. And, by publish, I mean by any media – online or off. That’s what you need…plus a good lawyer if any ever decides to profit from your work without your permission.
