Adele Bruno (http://tickledtotangle.blogspot.com) threw down Challenge #80 this week. We were to use string #80 (from tanglepatterns.com) and two patterns: Kozy by Marieke van Nimwegen and Inaura by CZT Bunny Wright.
I had looked at #80 in the past and never had a vision for what I would do with it. And putting two such dissimilar patterns together (Kozy is organic and Inaura is geometric) seemed implausible to me.
What the 2 had in common was a lot of repetitive work and I lost myself in deliberate movements for hours.
I worked the piece one way then decided I liked it from the other orientation, so I rotated 180 degrees.
