I fought it...oh how I fought it. Every time I tried variations of the pattern Ionic by Margaret Bremner for Suzy Mosh's Tangle Me 3 challenge, I just kept thinking of music. At first I was thinking about a music stand, then later it was the musical notes themselves that kept coming to my mind.
To take my mind off of music, I created a monotangle with just the the original pattern. I'm including it below. But when I went back to the Me 3 challenge at hand, musical notes just kept coming back. So I gave in.
I figure this could still be considered a monotangle because the straight lines are my "string"...right? I don't have any other patterns, just little dots and lines. And you could never say this was representational! You just don't make music notes this way.
Well, I'll have to say it's just fun stuff. I like how it turned out.
